On Friday 24th of November, 21 year old Subair Enitan, a 200 level student of the Department of Linguistics and African Languages at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, commenced her attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest hand-washing marathon of 50 hours by an individual.
Enitan embarked on the hand-washing marathon during the mid-day on Friday at the SUB Car Park of the University. ACJOAU had earlier reported on its official X page that Enitan had completed 20 hours off of the proposed 50 hours for the wash-a-thon
As of the time of filing this report, Enitan had successfully completed 30 hours of the hand washing marathon.
The marathon was graced with the presence of Enitan’s family, entertainers and students of the University, cheering, entertaining and lifting her spirit with different songs and games to boost her morale.
