Gbolahan Latinwo


A final year student of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. He’s a member of The ICONS Organization.

He’s a writer and a reporter. He was the Editor-in Chief II and Editor-in-Chief for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering Students’ Society Editorial Crew for the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic session respectively. He has been an Author at Campus Reporter, the campus reporting arm of Premium Times managed by Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) for over two years.

In 2021, he was shortlisted as a finalist for The Campus Journalism Award where he emerged winner of the News Reporter Category of the annual award organized by The Youth Digest which held in Abuja, Nigeria.

Also in 2022, he was shortlisted as a finalist for The Campus Journalism Award where he emerged winner of the Gender Equality Reporter Category of the annual award organized by The Youth Digest which held in Abuja, Nigeria.

Iseoluwa Olufajo


Iseoluwa Olufajo is a part 4 student of Obafemi Awolowo University studying Education and English Language.

She is currently serving as the Vice President Administration of Association of Campus Journalists, OAU, and as the Production Manager of Ife Educators News Agency (OAU).

Iseoluwa is a passionate reader, a proud pedagogist, and a fiction writer and she enjoys volunteering.

Theophilus Adeniyi AWOTUNDE

General Secretary

Poised, confident, a multi-tasker, thoughtpreneur & Realist, Theophilus Adeniyi AWOTUNDE is a dedicated and enthusiastic 300 Level student pursuing a degree in ‘History and International Relations’ at the Obafemi Awolowo University. As the General Secretary of the Association of Campus Journalists (ACJ), he plays a pivotal role in leading and representing the organization.

With a passion for journalism and a deep understanding of its importance in shaping society, Theophilus actively contributes to the growth and development of the ACJ. He demonstrates strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a vibrant journalism community on campus.

As the General Secretary, Theophilus is responsible for managing the correspondence of the Association, coordinating meetings, and contributes to the smooth functioning of the organization. He is dedicated to creating an inclusive and engaging environment for all members, where they can explore their journalistic interests, enhance their skills, and contribute meaningfully to the field.

Beyond his role in the ACJ, Theophilus is a diligent student, continuously seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and understanding of global affairs. He possesses a keen interest in history, international relations, and the interplay between media and diplomacy.

Theophilus is driven by a desire to make a positive impact through journalism and believes in the power of storytelling to shed light on important issues, inspire change, and foster dialogue. With his strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and a genuine passion for journalism, he aspires to contribute to the advancement of responsible, ethical, and impactful journalism in Nigeria and beyond.

Besides being a Campus Journalist, he also engages a wide range of activities including Scriptwriting, Voice Acting, Event Hosting, TV Content Production, amongst others. He’s had stops at Inside OAU Media (IOI), TrybeCity Radio, and is currently a member at the Icons Organization. He is the Producer of ‘The Blockchain Mastery Podcast,’ a Producer on CM Trading’s ‘Women’s Wealth TV Show,’ an Associate Producer on TVC’s ‘WakeUp Nigeria,’ and works periodically as an Intern with the TVC Newsroom. He is also brains behind ‘TheophilicMedia,’ a Campus based media platform, seeking to bridge formidable gaps between students and the Media.

Through his role as General Secretary, Theophilus is committed to upholding the values of the ACJ, promoting professionalism, integrity, and freedom of expression among its members. He strives to create a supportive environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the Association.

Oluwafemi Olabode

Public Relations Officer

He is an energetic emerging Journalist, a Political and Public Affairs Analyst, a Public Relations Expert, a Media Enthusiast, Award Winning Journalist and Media Personality, an Advocate of Media for Good Governance and Sustainable Development.

A Part 3 Political Science student of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He serves as the Editor-in-chief of OAU KILONSHELE News Agency.

His passion for journalism got him involved in campus journalism right from his part 1 days by becoming a registered member of the Association of Campus Journalists OAU. He has established extensive footprints in Nigeria’s foremost newspapers with his reports.

Oluwafemi is a passionate advocate of Media for accountable leadership and development. He currently serves as the Public Relations Officer of the Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University.

Financial Secretary

Deborah is a final year student of the Department of English and Literary Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University and the financial secretary of Association of Campus Journalists.

She’s a writer, campus reporter and a senior editor at Nasels Communication Bureau(NCB).

Director Of Socials

Omosebi Oluranti Stephen is a part 3 student of the department of Science and Technology Education, the Director of Socials, ACJ OAU.

He was trained by the Centre of Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID). He served as the PRO of The Lens News Agency (2021/2022). He is a columnist, content writer and Satirist.
