The Medical Students’ Association of the Obafemi Awolowo University has won the 2nd edition of her intercollegiate quiz competition. The competition began on Friday 18th of February, 2022 with the arrival of other Medical students from University of Ibadan, University of Ilorin, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Olabisi Onabanjo University Bowen University, Iwo and University of Uyo, ended on Saturday 19th of February, 2022.
The quiz competition was in two phases; day 1 was blitz phase is General Knowlege/General Science, Basic Medical Sciences and Clinical Sciences Picture Tests. The results of the first stage is shown below;

All schools proceeded to the preliminary stage of the quiz competition and the scores for each school were recorded;

At the end of the preliminary stage, only four schools with the highest aggregate points qualified to the final stage; Obafemi Awolowo University with 147 points, Olabisi Onabanjo University with 136 points, University of Ibadan with 116 points and University of Ilorin with 111 points.
The final stage had four categories including the fastest and best. The result is as follows;

At the end of the quiz competition, Obafemi Awolowo University emerged the winner with a total of 66 points, University of Ibadan took the position of the first runner up with a total of 54 points, Olabisi Onabanjo took position of the second runner up with a total of 46 points and University of Ilorin took the position of the third runner up with a total of 32 points.
A cash prize of one hundred and fifty thousand naira was presented to participants from Obafemi Awolowo University, the winner of the competition. The participants that came first runner up, second runner up, and third runner up were also with cash prizes of sixty thousand naira, forty thousand naira and ten thousand naira respectively. Awards were also presented to the winners and quiz masters.
