The Association Of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University has inaugurated her 51st Executive members of the Association.
The inauguration and the swearing-in cermony of the newly elected officials was done alongside the Association’s dinner and award night which held on Saturday, 24th of June 2023.

The Erstwhile President of the Association, Alofe Faith, a final year student of the Department Of English And Literary Studies, led the new executive members in oath-taking. She described her administration to be challenging but successful through cooperation, teamwork, and support of her fellow Executive members.
In his inaugural address, the President of the Association, Latinwo Gbolahan, a Part 4 student of the Department Of Agricultural And Environmental Engineering who had served as the Financial Secretary of the Association said he believes the leadership experience garnered will prepare him for the task ahead.
According to him, the 51st administration will prioritize inclusiveness, the growth of members as well as sustainability of ethical Journalism. He also implored members to fully support the administration.

In the celebration of efforts put in by members throughout the Academic session, Certificates were presented to those who served the Association. From Volunteers at the International Campus Journalism Conference (ICJC), to Reporters and Observers at the 2021/2022 Great Ife Students’ Union Elections, and then the Electoral Committee of the ACJ OAU.
Awards of Excellence in different categories were also presented to the following individuals and News Agency for their outstanding performance during the 2021/2022 administration.
