The Electoral Commission of the Students’ Union, Obafemi Awolowo University, has declared the winners of the election of the Great IFE Students’ Union. This was made known in a statement from the Electoral Commission on Friday, June 27th.
Recall that, on 26th June, the students of the University, in their faculties, exercise their right to vote as members of the union to elect new leaders into the Central Executive Council of the Great IFE Students’ Union.
In a Press statement issued, the electoral commission declared the final collated results of the 2025 Great IFE Students’ Union Election held on the 26th of June, 2025. It also made known the winners of each position contested in the election.

In the release signed by P.R.O., General Secretary and Chairman of the electoral commission — AUDU ABDUSALAM, DOTUNODUN JOSHUA, EHONDOR MATTHEW, respectively, the commission also extended regards and prayers to the newly elected. The statement reads, ‘To the newly elected officers: the mantle of leadership has been entrusted to you by the Great Ife students. May your tenure be marked by excellence, service, and accountability.’
