Following the disruption of a social event during the week at the Lagos State University, several narrations have trailed how artistes are treated in events hosted in Nigeria tertiary institutions

Reacting to the post, Adekunle Gold accused The Twitter account of lying and advised his colleagues not to listen to them. Quoting the tweet, Adekunle Gold said; “Don’t listen to them! F**king Liars.”

Reacting to the claim that it was a poor show, Adekunle Gold said he had just one song out then (SADE), which the promoters of the show knew about, and yet he was booked. Reacting to the accusations against Obafemi Awolowo University, the Great Ife Students’ Union Director of Socials And Culture, Moses Oyebamiji “Coweb” said the show was not disrupted as claimed by him(Adekunle Gold), but was only asked for a refund of his poor performance.
