Reactions Trail Adekunle Gold Post Over His Encounter At OAU in 2015

Following the disruption of a social event during the week at the Lagos State University, several narrations have trailed how artistes are treated in events hosted in Nigeria tertiary institutions

In a post made by an anonymous controversial Twitter handle ‘@TheGreatestIFE’, the post says ‘Bring your Concerts to OAU, we love fun here. Just dobale, singer nice songs and it’s a party mate’.

Reacting to the post, Adekunle Gold accused The Twitter account of lying and advised his colleagues not to listen to them. Quoting the tweet, Adekunle Gold said; “Don’t listen to them! F**king Liars.”

Refuting one of the claims by a Twitter user that he performed for just 4 minutes and wanted to disappear, the popular Singer said he sang “Sade” six times.

Reacting to the claim that it was a poor show, Adekunle Gold said he had just one song out then (SADE), which the promoters of the show knew about, and yet he was booked. He prostrated for the students, hyped the crowd up, performed Acapella, sang the full song (SADE), entered the crowd, performed again. came back to the stage did the same thing again!

Reacting to the accusations against Obafemi Awolowo University, the Great Ife Students’ Union Director of Socials And Culture, Moses Oyebamiji “Coweb” said the show was not disrupted as claimed by him(Adekunle Gold), but was only asked for a refund of his poor performance.
